Aoluguya is the transliteration of Ewenki, meaning "where poplar trees flourish". Aoluguaya, just listening to the name is mysterious enough to attract me into it. Deep in the Great Hinggan Mountains is a scenic area surrounded by dense virgin forests. There is an ancient hunting culture. From ancient times to the present, the Ewenki people still follow the oldest and simplest way of life. They are the minority people who depend on reindeer breeding for their livelihood. For hundreds of years, the Ewenks and reindeer wandering in the vast birch forest on the right bank of the Erguna River depended on each other. This is the last hunting tribe in China, or the home of reindeer. Feeding reindeer is a great pleasure for Aoluguaya. Because reindeer feed on moss that grow in primitive forests, there are moss sellers in the scenic area for 10 yuan a basket. Holding the basket, these cute little guys will follow you all the time, and have zero contact with this rare animal. Although they are gentle, they should not touch antlers to avoid being attacked and hurt themselves. In China, reindeer are only found in the Great Hinggan Mountains. They are good at traversing forests and marshes. Every reindeer has brass bells around its neck in order to find them more conveniently in the forest. Legend has it that every Christmas, Santa Claus will bring happiness to children by filling gifts with reindeer sledges. It sounds fairy tale, but I would rather believe that these are true, because the reindeer in the fairy tale book is right in front of me. Aoluguaya deer tribe is a nation with a long history. Reindeer can not live without forests, and Ewenki people can not live without forests. Forest is the whole survival of this nation, but the memory and culture of the nation can only be continued in the succession of generations, and the Ewenki people have done so. Through the primitive, simple and mysterious tribal peoples, we can feel the national culture that Ewenki people guard in the Millennium Mountains and the pure natural way of life. Their nation condenses the long history to today, which is a collision and crossing between ancient and modern.
