Walking eastward from Cologne Square, you come to Madrid's largest luxury store area. This area is the Salamanca District of Madrid. There are gucci, lv, hermes, omega, DIOR, Cartier and so on. What attracts me more than these stores is the large complex opened by El Corte ingles, a well-known Spanish department store group, which has also been seen in Valencia and only closed on weekends. El Corte Ingles has a huge supermarket underground. It's rare to see a supermarket of this size in Europe. There's TX coming home from Madrid, where you can buy presents, cheap and big bowls.
