Taierzhuang Dajie, also known as Taierzhuang Battle, Taierzhuang Battle and Blood Battle Taierzhuang. From March to mid-April 1938, in the southern part of Shandong Province, Taierzhuang battled with the elites of the Japanese divisions who intended to attack Xuzhou by two routes in Shandong Province. The Japanese 5th division, Banyuan Zheng Silang, attacked Linyi, while the 10th division, Jigu Lianjie, attacked Tengxian, Lincheng and Taierzhuang. This battle was part of the Xuzhou Battle in the War of Resistance Against Japan. This great victory inspired the morale of the whole nation, destroyed the prestige of the Japanese aggressors and eliminated a large number of Japanese forces. At the same time, tens of thousands of Chinese heroes have died for their country. The battle was directed by national heroes Li Zongren, Sun Lianzhong, Tang Enbo, Zhang Zizhong, Tianzhennan, Kang Faru, Guan Linzheng, Chifeng City and Wang Mingzhang. The film "Blood War Taierzhuang" comprehensively reflects the comprehensive anti-Japanese war of the Chinese army. During the fierce battle that lasted for one month, about 290,000 Chinese troops and about 50,000 Japanese soldiers participated in the battle.
