加德滿都城內的古老建築物更是舉目可見，成為獨特的歷史遺產，即使那些私人住宅，雖然是傳統的磚木結構，但外觀裝飾得玲瓏精巧，門窗、梁托及支架均是精雕細琢，就連郊區的鄉村小鎮也顯得古香古色，使這裏自古以來就是尼泊爾的古代建築藝術中心和文化中心。

Just in Duba Square, many ancient buildings were badly damaged after the earthquake, and still under renovation. Duba Square is actually the square in front of the palace gate. The big bronze bell in Duba Square was built by King Bahadur in 1797. The old palace rings the bell when it holds all kinds of important activities. It is said that the bell can drive away evil spirits. Whether in shape or location, the bell, together with the surrounding temples and stone pillars, forms a harmonious and perfect picture, which once again shows the glory of Nepal's palace.

Located on the north side of Shiva-Palvati Temple, near Duba Square, it is said that the bells here can drive away evil spirits.
