Today, the island of Dillos is barren, with nothing but relics and museums. There were few stone pools left, only marble pillars, lintels and window frames. Without maps, signs and pictures, it would be impossible to identify where the building is. The Greeks were unable to restore the site, and the only protection was that no one could spend the night on the island. However, we can still imagine the glory of its heyday from the exquisite and vivid sculptures unearthed and the dimly discernible architectural structures.
