Krumlov Castle, which stands on a hill, was originally a fortress in the thirteenth century. Its terrain is narrow and long. Its tall and magnificent buildings were acquired by nobles in the fourteenth century and transformed into magnificent castles. Several bears were raised in the moat just entering the castle. Traditionally, bears represent the symbols of the local noble family. The whole castle is built on a steep slope. On the hillside, you can climb high and enjoy the beautiful scenery of Krumlov from different angles.
