Stalin Park is one of the summer resorts along the Songhua River, across the river from Sun Island. Founded in 1953, the original name is Riverside Park . The total length is 1750 meters. Stalin Park can take buses No. 2, 8, 9, 12, 13, 15, 16, 20, 23, 64, 79, 83, 85, 101, 102, 103, 113, 114 to the riverside. Before the 1950s, it was a dedicated railway line and a shipping terminal. There is a famous flood control memorial tower beside Stalin Park. The flood in 1957 threatened Harbin. The water level exceeded 0.58 meters of the flood peak in 1932.
