Paris is a little far away from the city. Traffic has to take a train to Fontainebleau and then change buses across the street. The bus gets off at Chateau station and boards at that station on its return journey. The appearance of the castle is not as dazzling as Versailles Palace, but the interior of the castle is not losing at all to Versailles. There are many anecdotes about Napoleon. There are also various Chinese pavilions, which have to pay an extra 3 Euros ticket. But there are only a few small rooms. Museum staff do not feel very good at English (or may not be willing to speak English)
