沙巴的加雅島離市區不遠，島上有一家酒店，應該是度假村，由於離市區不遠，所以海水質量一般，島上有茂密的叢林，適合徒步旅行，酒店價格偏高，尤其是餐飲，但是住一晚還是不錯的

加雅島是東姑阿都拉曼海洋公園海域內最大的海島，距亞庇約15平方公里。可能是去島上島每天有人數限制，登島需要提前預定，而且每天只有幾艘固定的船進行接送，為了配合他們的時間，我們幾天都挺趕早的，坐快艇大概要10-15分鐘的樣子就到了加雅島，全島只有3家飯店，對外交通各自獨立，島上沒有開通任何公路，絕大多數都是未開發的熱帶雨林，像是一處私密的度假樂園。島上有潔白細膩的沙灘、也有卵石灘、淤泥灘、紅樹林及砂岩石峭壁的環周海岸。在警察灣海域，由淺至深斜伸入灣里的海灘，造就了一處完美的浮潛的據點。全島沿岸環繞着珊瑚礁，非常美麗。島上開發的比較好，娛樂項目多，很好玩的。

開放式的燒烤吧，都是現烤現做的，材料是一等一的新鮮，味道也很贊的感覺呀。放眼望去，整個島已不能用美來形容，就是個絕世的“世外桃源”，藍色的海水和蔚藍色的天空形成完美的搭配，不用浮潛就可以看到海水裡自由自在的魚兒，順着路來到沙灘上。
