The crater is about 800 meters in diameter and nearly 300 meters in depth. It has not stopped erupting since it cracked in March 2008. The crater ring road surrounds the huge crater on the top of Kilauea volcano. It passes through different landscapes such as desert and tropical rain forest. Besides the most famous one mentioned above, it's worth it! Thurston volcano cave, walking through, has a history of 500 years. The feeling of the jungle is quiet and beautiful, but there are still some lingering palpitations in recalling the feeling of sparse population. There are many hiking trails in the volcano park, which are said to be endless for seven days. We only walked for two hours. It rained a little hard, so we went back to the parking lot. Here, hot magma once flowed through underground passages, and the walls of underground passages cooled and solidified, forming huge voids from which passages formed. There is a lush tropical rain forest at the end of the passage. Destruction Trail, hiking through paved paths, through lava fountains and ash-covered areas formed by Kilauea Iki eruptions!
