The Van & Etfield Mansion was designed by Victor & Etfield in 1895; Otta for Edmond & Effield; Van & Etfield, the Chief Executive of the Free State of Congo. In the van & 183 Etfield Mansion, Ota uses suspended steel structure on the facade, and receives more and more light through the central reception room covered by steel and glass domes. In 1898, Ota expanded the house, giving it a more traditional, detail-focused sand facade. Adding a garage and an office, as well as a separate gate. This building and three other buildings designed by Otta: Tassel Mansion, Solway Mansion, Otta Residence and Studio are all epoch-making urban dwellings before 1900. These four houses were listed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2000.

The mansion is not a big place, although I have never heard of this character, but look at the structure inside, it is still very luxurious, you can see the living conditions of the local people.

It feels like this is the modern version of the luxury house.
