Great interaction with the elephants Quite expensive and not too sure about the riding bit, although It39;39;s done bare back to keep the weight down. Walking with one is certainly an experience worth doing and the volunteer guides are knowledgeable and friendly. A bit chaotic if a lot of people arrive at the same time. Overal you have to bear in mind it39;39;s a self funded sanctuary and these animals have all been rescued from some pretty unpleasant former lives.

It's much better than other elephant zoos, because there are many volunteers from all over the world to help the elephants, and then the money will be put in the foundation. There are many stories about the elephants here, many of them have been hurt and cared for.

The Hasaddin Elephant Foundation is a wonderful experience to reach out to these magnificent animals in a respectful way. The story of individual elephants is sad at the same time. Some taxis will try to take you to the nearby elephant village.

這個地方也是一個大象的園區，還是千篇一律的那種觀看大象的表演吧，不過這個地方感覺他們大象生活的環境還是不錯的，而且看到他們吃的東西還是挺豐富的，也還好吧。
