吉林天主教堂評價

吉林天主教堂為典型的哥特式建築，主體由教堂和鐘樓組成，平面略呈“十”字形。全部建築為磚石拱形建築，無木樑或木柱。每逢禮拜日或天主教節日，教堂鐘聲可傳數里。

吉林天主教堂位於吉林省吉林市松江路三號，吉林大橋北端附近，南臨松花江。光緒二十八年（壬寅1902年）購買了今天主教黨所佔的土地，開始籌建天主教堂。從1917年動工，費時10年。吉林天主教堂聖名“耶穌聖心堂”，為典型的哥特式建築，主體由教堂和鐘樓組成，平面略呈“十”字形。全部建築為磚石拱形建築，無木樑或木柱，磚用的是當地特殊燒制的長31厘米、寬25厘米的青磚，石料全是用自吉林城區東南10公里的阿什哈達採集的上等花崗岩，而後精雕細磨成各種規格的花紋石柱、石門楣、石窗檯等。教堂院子整體佔地6449平方米，院內建築面積800平方米，使用面積536平方米，坐落於吉林市松江中路三號，吉林大橋北端，南臨松花江。

天主教堂應該稱得上吉林的標誌性建築，這座近百年歷史的教堂歷經滄桑，仍屹立在美麗的松花江畔，保存得很好，據說是法國傳教士修建，用的是吉林本地的花崗岩。
