Tokyo Day - "Today we visit Shenda Temple in the warm winter sun. Shenda Temple is one of the oldest temples in Tokyo, second only to Shaogao Temple. It is the second thousand-year-old temple in Haodong area of Japan. Shenda Temple was built in Nara era (733) and is also a famous lover temple. Some people come here to worship for marriage or love. Every October, Shenda Temple holds a grand "buckwheat noodles sacrifice" in front of the church. The buckwheat noodles of Shenda Temple are even given the nickname "knot noodles".
