Tunisia is a scenic spot inside. According to the guide, the fortress was built in B.C. and later used by different rulers and was constantly transformed. When we visited it, we only looked at the scenery. It was magnificent.
I haven't tried this mosque and tourism, so I can't comment on whether it's open to the public or not. But this is one end of a very attractive and spectacular mosque dominated by ruedelakasbah.
