Salvation Mountains is located in southeastern California, east of Lake Solton, just over two hours away from San Diego. Not far from the spectrum, but the climate is very different. I was going to take pictures, but as soon as I drove the door, there was a heat wave. I looked at the temperature, 43 [laughing cry]. I had a feeling of 50. Then when our feet touched the ground, we regretted it and took pictures. We were so depressed that in less than two minutes we were all sunburnt and wilted. You know, we're still here before sunset. It's conceivable that if we come at noon, we'll take a few quick pictures and withdraw immediately. We'd better come back in winter. [allow sorrow]
