昆崙山口是青海、甘肅兩省通往西藏的必經之地，乘坐進藏的綠皮火車，青藏鐵路列車途經格爾木段時，隔窗眺望遠方冰雪世界特有的自然雪景。

曾經走過這裏，懷着敬畏之心走過這裏，當年一切都是那麼新奇，雪山，冰川，高海拔，藏羚羊的故事，青藏公路。現在又走到這裏，只不過是冬天，冰天雪地之下顯的荒涼，冷寂。不過也是一種旅行體驗。

自駕從西藏到青海的路上經過昆崙山口，昆崙山口是青藏線公路上的個關隘，治途都是凍土莣漠地貌，感覺非常的荒涼，剛巧在山口時颳起大風，碰到了沙塵暴，更感氣候惡劣，總的來說是個不一樣體驗的地方。
