We were surprised at the number of monkeys we saw here. The reserve is located in the mangroves of Shaakan, surrounded by palm oil plantations, where there are a large number of long nosed monkeys. Feeding on Platform A is close and personal. Due to the timing, only about 15 people participated, and the feeding platform was very close to the viewing platform. The monkeys ran up the boardwalk to eat their food. We wandered around after the crowd left and were treated very actively and playfully by the monkeys. Platform B has a lot more visitors, but also more monkeys. I recommend Platform A for more private viewing.
