The old city of Lanxi is located in Dayunshan to the East and Lanjiang to the west. It has a half-moon shape. The remaining 600 meters of the city wall along the river were rebuilt in Ming Zhengde 7 years (1512), while the rest were rebuilt in 1995. There are four old gates: Anzhengmen in the east, Mingdemen in the south, Qingbomen in the West and Gongchenmen in the north.
