Also known as White Clothes Antarctica. Qingyang Road in Lanzhou City is named for its pagoda built in Baiyi Temple. The Baiyi Temple was originally painted with a statue of a white-clothed master who worshipped the Baiyi Bodhisattva. The temple was first built in the year of Chongzhen in the Ming Dynasty (1631 A.D.). After many wars, only the Temple Pagoda has been preserved to this day. Baiyi Temple Pagoda is a solid brick pagoda, about 30 meters high. The tower is square with staggered teeth, 7 meters in length and 7 meters in width, 2.8 meters in height and carved flower patterns on all sides. The lower part of the tower is covered with bowls, about 8 meters high, and the maximum diameter is 6 meters. There is a Buddha niche at the junction of Zhengnan and Taji. There are three Buddha statues in the original niche. Half of the tower body is octagonal cone, 18.5 meters high, 12 layers of dense eaves, even layers, rare in China. Each layer has a Buddha niche on each side, with one statue inside, totaling 96; each layer has one wind bell hanging at each corner, totaling 96. The tower brake is about 1 meter high, shaped like a vase, made of copper-plated metal. In front of the pagoda, there was a hall rebuilt in the Qing Dynasty, and then a new three-storey archaized building. In 1991, the Lanzhou Museum moved in.
