昨天去過，買票的人只問了問是哪裡人，拿了個本子讓我登記了一下，跟我說不要錢，我想這可能和廣西從十一月一號部分景點免門票有關吧。小連城最大的看點是風景，上到主峰可以看到龍州城旳全景，和山下的田園風光，但有古炮的炮台在施工，景區很小群，我從進景區后就沒有見到登山的遊客了，直到快出景區時才遇到了幾個觀鳥的，我對他們說從這兒到山頂已經沒有遊客了。從景區大門口到主峰共有六百多個台階（下山後問的景區門衛），龍州到景區有2路公交車，在中心花園上車。

小連城位於龍州縣城西部，依山設勢，在主峰和左右山峰築有炮台和峰火台，峰頂上的主炮台名“鎮龍炮台”，料石壘砌，安置加農炮—門，建有兵房、彈藥庫等設施，是龍州境內規模最大最雄偉的一座炮台。
