In 1898, Ying Guoxuan Teacher, Pastor Mei Ganwu and Dr. David Lan were sent to teach in the central part of Taiwan, and then the church was founded in Taichung by chance. Then the church raised money to buy the site. In 1916, the church was built according to the Gothic architectural plan of the British church provided by Pastor Mei Ganwu. There were large arch windows and hexagonal windows in the church. The whole wall decoration was built with clear water brick and stone wash. The indoor two-storey building has been listed as a cultural asset.

Liuyuan Church is located in Xingzhong Street, Taichung. It is a church with a history of 100 years. The appearance of the red brick wall is very bright. There are square and garden inside. It is beautiful.

The church is a Western organization. The whole church is funded and built. When you come here, you can visit it indoors. There are also some plants in the church square. They are very open.
