龍川胡氏宗祠位於安徽省宣城市績溪縣城東11公里處的瀛洲鎮龍川村，建於明嘉靖二十五年，其以“木雕藝術博物館”和“民族藝術殿堂”著稱於世，1988年被評為全國重點文物保護單位，中外建築專家稱其“規模之大、時間之長、完整之好、裝飾之美為天下第一”。

胡氏宗祠里有大量以荷花為主題的雕刻，胡家推崇荷花，不僅因為其高潔的特質，更因為它諧音為“和”，體現了家族和睦、長幼有序之意。

胡氏宗祠最有名的就是徽派藝術了，祠內裝飾精美，尤以保存完好的各類木雕為最，有“徽派木雕藝術寶庫”之稱。龍川在明代曾出過兩任六部尚書。
