Masdar City, a planned new town of Abu Dhabi Yas Island. The city's first "zero carbon emissions", "zero waste" and "zero radiation" cities powered entirely by renewable energy sources. As we enter the unfinished city, the traditional architectural style of Arab cities is integrated with the modern metal steel frame structure and fair-faced concrete. In the few built streets, modular areas of the basic functional needs of different communities such as Eco Market, Prayer Rooms, Knowledge Center, Auditorium, Bank, Wellness Center, Laboratory, Canteen can be easily identified. The whole city is designed by Foster Architecture, UK. The average temperature of Masdar City will be reduced by up to 20 degrees Celsius compared with the outdoors. The developed transportation system will reach every corner of the city through electric vehicles. When completed in 2025, it will become the research headquarters of the International Renewable Energy Agency.
