有“世界的肚臍”之稱的阿貢火山是一座位於印度尼西亞巴厘島東部的活火山，為巴厘島的最高峰，被當地人奉為聖山。這裏的日出和日落非常壯觀，但攀登難度很大，適合經驗豐富的登山發燒友。　　巴厘人認為這座山是“世界的中心”，巴厘島上每座神廟中都有一座神龕祭祀這座山的山神。居民把向神廟獻祭的祭品和火葬崗等物做成阿貢山的形狀以示對此山的尊崇。巴厘的主廟普拉伯沙吉(Pura Besakih)建造在阿貢火山的山坡上。該火山最近一次猛烈噴發於1963年，造成約1,600人死亡，86,000人無家可歸。攀登阿貢火山並不容易，想要到達山頂更是難上加難，需要較冷做好充分的準備，最好請嚮導帶領。再加上這裏海拔高，氣候冷，不時會下雨，需要帶上禦寒防雨的衣物。 

阿貢火山不是死火山的，也是很讓人難忘的景點的，我們並沒有去登山，只是遠遠的看了看，如果你到梯田這裏來的話，是可以看到這座著名的火山的

對於巴厘島來說,阿貢山被認爲是神聖的地方,也是淨化的。此外,在這些山上還有貝薩基寺,這是巴厘島印度教徒最重要的寺廟之一。

The most recent violent eruption occurred in 1963, when ash erupted as high as 4,000 meters, resulting in 1,500 deaths.
