Mount Zion, south of Jerusalem, is one of the symbols of Israel and a holy place for Christians. Zion Gate is another Jewish miracle. In the Six-Day War of 1967 (the Third Middle East War), Israel captured the city incredibly, which was invaded from Zion Gate. The door walls were pitted with bullet holes left by the Six-Day War. This afternoon, we also visited the Mark Tower where Jesus and his disciples celebrated the Last Supper, the Church of the Virgin Mary and the Tomb of King David. Oscar Schindler's remains are buried here, a saint worthy of Jewish remembrance for thousands of years.
