Museum Island is located in the centre of Berlin and the north side of Spray Island. There are many leading museums in Germany, headed by the Pegamon Museum. The five museums on the island are different in shape, but they are harmonious and unified. The Spray River flows through both sides, making the museum more magnificent. In 1992, Museum Island was included in the World Cultural Heritage List by UNESCO.
