這裡是一個溫泉文化小鎮。在車站附近有好幾個景點。溫泉文化博物館挺有意思的，和風的舊建築，裏面還有當年的舊浴池。地熱谷，可以看到熱氣騰騰的溫泉，仙境一般。周圍還有挺多溫泉酒店。

新北投溫泉是在台北地區比較出名的溫泉之一，這裏的溫泉水也被稱作為白溫泉。走到溫泉區，可以看到沿路的小溪都是乳白色的溫泉水，這些白色的溫泉水含有白硫磺，因此呈現的是粉白色。沿路的風景也是很美的。

地熱谷深刻印象不過証明地低下是有地殼運動，真是有愛有癢，好是有溫泉可以享受不好是有地震，不過北投太多高樓大廈，無有馬和白賓的感覺。。。
