The Norwegian Folklore Museum is the earliest open-air museum in the world. It shows the whole Norwegian folk customs. There are many wooden buildings migrating from different parts of Norway and then simulating the old way of life.
Time permitting, it's interesting to have a stroll in the folk village, but unfortunately when I go, it's winter, and it rains. It's dark in the afternoon more than 3 o'clock, and it's very rush to visit in the evening. There are all kinds of old wooden houses. Some of the roofs are covered with thick green grass. They look like houses in fairy tales. Along the street are small retail stalls, pay attention to a lot of cash or Norwegian credit cards. We stayed in Oslo for a week. Norwegian kroner didn't change a penny. We were embarrassed when we wanted to buy a hot dog in a folk village. Later, we bought a waffle cake and beef soup in a cabin. 155NOK consumption is not one of the most expensive countries(^^)
