Phoenix Tower is a building on the middle road of Shenyang Palace Museum, a three-drop Xieshan-style corridor building. Built on a four-meter-high green brick platform, it was the tallest building in Shengjing at that time. The Phoenix Tower is the gateway to the back palace. It has three floors, three deep floors and three wide floors. In contrast to the Beijing Palace Museum, the Shenyang Palace Museum is "high Palace low". The Phoenix Tower and the Empress Palace of the Huangtaiji Period were built on a high flat ground. The Phoenix Tower was also the place where the emperor planned military and political events, rested and feasted.
