Pingtan Island is the fifth largest island in China, the first largest island in Fujian Province, located in the southeastern coast of China, located in Pingtan County, Fujian Province. It is the main island of Pingtan County, 128 kilometers away from Fuzhou, and only 68 miles away from Xinzhu Port, Taiwan Province, in the east. It is the nearest place between the mainland of China and Taiwan. The island is 29 kilometers long in the north and 29 kilometers long in the south, 19 kilometers wide in the East and west, covering an area of 267.13 square kilometers, accounting for 72 (%) It is named after the shape of the altar and the sea of Wuzhi.
