里昂的市政廳就在沃土廣場這邊，遊客不怎麼多，當地人倒是不少。里昂也是法國的美食之都，廣場附近美食選擇不少，中午在這附近吃個飯也不錯的。

沃土廣場應該是真正意義上的市中心，因為市政廳就位於廣場的東側。路上已經可以看見壁畫了，連窗戶都是畫上去的。廣場上最引人注目的就是噴泉和雕塑了。

里昂市政廳被稱為世界上最美的三個市政廳之一，市政廳始建於公元1646年，1674年重建。現在的市政廳外部以意大利風格的雕像和圓頂裝飾，內部則為巴洛克式建築風格，裝飾非常奢華。市政廳前的廣場中央有噴泉，池中有座四頭馬的紀念銅像，造型栩栩如生。
