馬約爾廣場，始建於1619年；建成后的300餘年中，3次火災毀損、3次重新修建；1953年第3次重建后留存至今。長129米、寬94米的長方形廣場，中央聳立着下令建造廣場的菲里普三世騎馬雕像；周邊圍合著4層高的建築，有着237個面臨廣場的陽台；廣場的9個拱形劵門，通向了市中心的主要街道。廣場觀賞性最高的建築-麵包房之家，外牆布滿了精美的壁畫，市政廳和遊客服務中心都設置與此。廣場的四周+建築的騎樓，店鋪餐廳鱗次櫛比，市民遊客逛吃逛吃、悠哉悠哉；開張中的郵幣市場，人來人往、討價還價，不亦樂乎。廣場各處，形形色色的街頭藝人賣力展示着五花八門的才華，成為一道道靚麗的風景線。
