Putuo Temple in the suburbs is donated by Sabah Chinese. Visitors can visit it free of charge. Yabe is not very big, so it's only a few minutes'drive from the city. It's about 10 ringgit by GRAB. Temples still cover a large area. There are gate, parking lot, front hall, middle hall, back hall, side hall, restaurant, lodging building, small garden, kindergarten (yes, kindergarten is not faulty, Chinese kindergarten attached to temple), Guanyin video and other buildings, the tour time is about 2H. Similar to domestic temples, the temple has many murals. Basically, the exterior walls are painted with a large number of murals, which are very beautiful. If you are not in a hurry, you can have a fasting meal in the temple. It's very pleasant to read Buddhist books and drink tea in the pavilion in the afternoon. The temple has free Buddhist books, newspapers and periodicals, self-help coin-operated beverage vending machines, and the bathroom is on the right side of the back hall staircase to the bottom and right side (next to the kindergarten).
