聖老楞佐教堂又稱風信堂(或風順堂),是澳門著名的大教堂,佔地面積很大。教堂門前左右兩排石階直達大門,氣派十足,花園內植有棕櫚樹,聖堂內掛有古式吊燈,堂皇肅穆,頗具特色。風信堂的建立早於 1569 年,後來曾數度重修。而在 1979年進行的粉飾裝修,更使這座古老的教堂倍添光彩。教堂設計雄偉壯觀,左右鐘樓並峙,一座是時鐘,作報時用,一座是銅鐘,供教堂彌撒時用.教堂屋頂是中國式的金字瓦面,室內裝飾充滿了東方色彩,古雅逸趣。堂內寬敞宏偉,巨大的樑柱和精美的吊燈,頗具豪華博大之氣派。祭壇內供奉的聖老楞佐神像,穿着絢麗的衣袍,一手持聖經,一手拿法杖,莊嚴肅穆。在航海的葡萄牙人心目中,他是庇佑平安、賜予風信之神。

這是澳門最古老的三個教堂之一。雄偉壯觀,葡萄牙水手家族悠久的歷史聚集在台階前祈禱,等待他們的迴歸。當我們坐在教堂時,和平與平靜。
