Senyu Ji Temple: the ancestral temple of the imperial family since Kyoto Heian. From the third year of emperor Komei in 1868, it was changed to shinjitsu. Here is a Buddhist funeral ceremony. Not a prominent but central place in history. It is a central place in the sense of separation of Shinto and Buddhism in the Meiji Restoration and haibutsu kishaku. Emperor Komei's mausoleum was extraordinary. It seems to have given the divine ceremony here in the Meiji period.
