The History Museum of Xidaemun Criminal Bureau was built during the Japanese occupation of Korea. It shows the life of prisons and the cruelty of Japanese. It introduces detailed descriptions in Korean, English, Chinese and Japanese. The rooms inside are well protected. In order to make tourists experience and feel better, the torture was restored with wax figures.

Situated in the West Gate Independent Park, the History Museum of the West Gate Criminal Service Institute is a special museum. As the organ of the Japanese imperialist repression and massacre of revolutionary martyrs at the end of the Korean Empire, the History Museum is the site of the Museum. Liu Kuanshun, known as Joan of Arc of Korea, also died in this prison. In addition to seven cells, you can visit single cells and execution rooms.

In the past, it was quite novel. It was worth seeing. It mainly talked about the Japanese colonial period.
