The goddess Hall. This is the main hall of the temple. It was built for Yuhou's mother, Yijiang. The Hall of Notre Dame was built in the reign of Song Tiansheng and rebuilt in the first year of Song Chongning (1102), which has been around for eight hundred and eighty years. The main statue in the temple is the Virgin Mother of Tang Shuyu, the wife of King Wu of Zhou, Yijiang. Forty-two attendants are symmetrically arranged on both sides of the main statue niche. These statues are one of the three unique statues of Jin Temple. The eight wooden dragons carved on the gallery pillars in front of the temple are unique. These eight dragons are the original of the second year of Yuan You in the Northern Song Dynasty (1087 AD). They are the earliest three-dimensional Wood Carving Dragons in existence in China. Panlong pillar system was once seen on stone carved pagoda doors and shrines in Sui and Tang Dynasties. Among the known wood structures in ancient Chinese architecture, the eight Panlong in front of Notre Dame Hall are pioneer works.
