從這裏可以眺望浩瀚的太平洋。島波海道上有白白的海浪，看也看不膩。適合在這裏放空，什麼也不做。看海天一色，聽濤聲陣陣。身體舒適。

城山展望台在鹿兒島中部超矮的小山上，當然，山雖矮，在這裏就是高點了，登上去俯瞰市區和海灣沒問題，天氣好時遙眺櫻島火山群也是很好的，區域內日式燒肉、鰻魚、壽司之類的名店不少，還有溫泉酒店可選擇住宿。古迹方面這裡是維新三傑之一的西鄉隆盛戰死的地方，感覺沒桂和大久保知名，可能是銀魂和浪客劍心登場的原因…反觀西鄉在銀魂里的人物。。。

櫻島是鹿兒島排名第一的景點，居然還是一座活火山，一直在噴發。時間關係沒有上島，就只能在展望台觀望了。海灣、城市、火山同框，留了些照片。

住在山上的酒店，去展望台十分方便，可以順便看看鹿兒島的夜景，早上可以看到櫻島。
