St. Lawrence's synagogue is only a few steps away from St. Paul's Cathedral, adjacent to the City Hall, and there is a quiet artificial pond with plants outside the church door. Everything looks like a primitive state that has been preserved for centuries, but was actually bombed in World War II and rebuilt in its primitive style.

The original Church of St. Lawrence's synagogue was built in the twelfth century, where St. Thomas preached on a street, then known as the Old Jews. The church was dedicated to St. Lawrence, who died in Rome and held religious activities every August.

St. Lawrence synagogue is located in the centre of London, next to the City Hall of London. The church was built in the 12th century and its weather vane was the tool of St. Lawrence's martyrdom. The church is made entirely of stone. The east wall is decorated with four Greek Collinsian columns. It is now the official Church of the English Church, the mayor of London. Waitangi Day is celebrated here every February.
