St Michaels教堂坐落在柯林斯街道和Russell街道的拐角處，周圍都是比它更高的現代化建築。它建於1870年初，外牆是磚面，給教堂一個獨特的外觀。教堂外部給我留下了深刻的印象，可惜的是，我去的那天，教堂沒有對外開放。如果你想要参觀教堂內部的話，建議你提前查看開放的時間。不知道這個教堂是否有對旅遊團體開放。

這座迷人的教堂位於柯林斯街道，從斯旺斯頓街道只需要步行一會就能到達或者坐一趟有軌電車也能到達。一進入到這座迷人的教堂，就能感受到一種讓人平靜的感覺。那裡有美麗的彩色玻璃窗，超級棒的拱廊，美麗的木製長椅和祭壇。在周四的下午一點，那裡會有一場免費的非常令人陶醉的管風琴演奏會。明蓋里（一個安靜的地方）就坐落在聖邁克的羅素街道所處的那一邊上。

首先這座教堂是基督教堂（也就是新教教堂。新教即宗教改革之後，區別於天主教也就是舊教的教派），外部特色是其外表用顏色石裝飾。其內部特點是教眾席分上下兩層，看上去非常像一座劇院。有一組大管風琴，禮拜日演奏起來有莊重而神聖之感。

On Collins Avenue, a famous commercial street in downtown Melbourne, a cathedral catches the attention of passers-by. It was built in 1866 "St. Michael's Union Church", also known as "St. Michael's Union Cathedral". Even though it has such a long history, it is still open to the local people to come here for Mass. This is Melbourne, where there is a sense of classical and modern cross-cutting, which is the most unique urban aesthetics here.

St. Michael's United Church is the largest and tallest Catholic Church in the southern hemisphere. It has a rich collection of Arts and crafts, including meticulous painted windows and panes. The magnificence and dignity of the Catholic Church are highlighted by its skillful woodcarving and masonry craftsmanship.
