我是坐阪堺線漫無目的下了車，幸好這個建築就進去走了一圈。翻查歷史這是一個超過1000年的遺迹，裏面十分幽靜，環境優美，建築物保存得很好，對歷史沒認識的人也是一個很好的遊覽地。

遣唐使第一批是從這裏出發的，後來改成離中國更近的九州出發了。所以它就變成叫“遣唐使始發地”，雖然沒有九州有名，但畢竟是始發，我也是這次才知道，過去只知道是博多港是遣唐使的登船地。它還有個有名的是大殿的造法是獨一無二的，叫“住吉造”，材料，樣式都不是學唐朝的。看照片里黑不溜秋的大殿就是。每年的元旦，來此朝拜的遊客可達200萬人次，一天哦。有點特色，在大阪可坐南海線，往關西機場方向到住吉大社站下，步行2分鐘即達。對面還有個住吉公園，也值得一看。

住吉大社是位於日本大阪府大阪市住吉區住吉的一座神社，平時人不多，日本新年初詣參拜者多而聞名，住吉大社與下關的住吉神社、博多的住吉神社並稱為日本三大住吉。
