It was originally a royal residence. The first was a place for ceremonies and entertainment. The second was occupied by churches in Ptolemy and Roman times. In addition, there were three multi-pillar halls. On the left side of the second hall was the tomb of Ramses III. The exterior walls of the temple are engraved with famous panoramic reliefs.
