賴王台階位於斗象台的北邊，是一座七米高的平台，平台周邊的護牆上有許多精美的雕刻。賴王平台是當時的皇家火葬場所在地，因平台上立有一座賴王雕像而得名。

這裏看上去一點也不像火葬平台，少有人近這裏仔細端詳浮雕，實則千奇百怪，各有不同。大大小小的人物浮雕生動形象，跟斗象台銜接在一起。

The small step on the edge of the war elephant step is the King Lao step. Its usefulness and name are mysterious, but the mainstream saying is the Royal crematorium. The walls beneath the steps of King Lao are densely packed and exquisite Buddhist carvings with mottled but vivid colors. The platform is 6 meters high and each side is 25 meters long. It is built with laterite and rock.
