從米爾佛海峽返回皇后鎮，途經直升機場，可以乘坐直升機駐足南部冰川上。“全球變暖，新西蘭南部冰川不斷融化，也許多年以後就再也看不到了！”導遊的介紹很是誘惑。不過，價格真心不便宜，摺合人民幣三千元一人。從廣告牌的中文可以看出，這項目還是蠻受中國人歡迎的。

乘坐南部冰川直升機觀光可以掠過瓦卡蒂普、峽灣地區和阿斯帕林山國家公園，映入眼帘的巍峨高山、皚皚白雪和冰川，真是動人心魄，精彩絕倫。

一家人一家直升機，非常棒的體驗，冬季看見山頂白雪茫茫，可以在山頂停留10分鐘左右合影玩雪，不過天氣太冷了，拍拍照就回來了，將近1一個小時左右來回。大人605新幣，兒童400多新幣，一共2000多新幣，感覺挺值得。

直升飛機看冰川是新西蘭游的重頭戲。
