創立於1936年的波士頓當代藝術博物館，最早是紐約現代博物館的分支，後來脫離了MOMA並改名成為了現在ICA，如果說藝術博物館中大多為深奧滿藏寓意的古典油畫繪畫，那現代藝術博物館則可以輕鬆遊覽，展品更為熟悉和親切。博物館位於Fan Pier海港旁，一路沿着港口邊走，海風徐徐，拂面而來，當看到玻璃造型的獨特建築時，便到達了現代藝術博物館。他們家也分為常展和特展，参觀前可以在官網查詢當期的展品主題，這裏的展品都是非常的開放、前衛。常展中還有很多20-21世紀女性藝術家Nan Goldin、Mona Hatoum、Cindy Sherman 等的藝術作品

由Diller Scofidio＋Renfro擔當設計的當代藝術協會坐落在波士頓南部港口Fan Pier地區的邊緣,它是一個世紀以來波士頓的第一個新博物館,也是DS＋R事務所在北美地區設計的第一個建築項目。

當代藝術協會是需要收門票，也不算便宜的。雖然對藝術比較一知半解，不過這裏的藝術展出還是非常的精彩的，雖然門票小貴但也算物有所值吧。

It is suggested that two hours of visiting time be reserved. ICA has four floors. The exhibition hall is on the top floor. The entrance of the first floor is an art wall. Different outstanding artists will be invited to make it in each issue. This issue is Gillian Wearing's photo wall. The second and third floors are mainly performance centers and digital studios. When there are performances, the exhibition hall will be open and the fourth floor will be the main visiting point. The theme of this issue is Mark Dion's Misdventures of a 21-Century Naturalist. Great theme. Seeing exhibits will also have more communication. It will give artistry to common objects. It will shock creativity while bringing more thinking. It can also invite staff to explain the exhibits they are interested in.

Having slagged off an appalling exhibition at the Guggenheim in NYC on TA a couple of days ago, I found myself in Boston visiting the IcA. And what a total treat that turned out to be. I was surprised, I smiled and I laughed, which is what I expect from a good gallery or exhibition. Moreover, I participated in description-defying work by choreographer William Forsythe, entitled ''Choreographic Objects''. You''ll know what I mean when you visit, and you should. There was also some fantastic stuff from musician/artist Jason Moran, along with other works from the collection. Worth every penny. Recommended.

The trip to Harvard is over. In the afternoon, I unexpectedly harvested ICA (The Institute of Contemporary Art), the most favorite exhibition hall in this trip, when it arrived at ICA, it was on the back. I had not seen its handsome treatment facing the waterfront environment in large quantities, but fell in love with her almost instantly in a wonderful exhibition space. Facing the small exhibition hall of Charles River, we began to grasp our hearts from a touching multimedia music display. The combination of lively scenes and artistic multimedia exhibition creativity of moving music is a beautiful cry. Then carefully scrutinize the large but exquisite spatial level, more durable. Simple sinking square treatment provides excellent viewing experience space. ICA is a suitable place to spend an afternoon in a daze. I think ICA is like the kind of person I like. At first glance ordinary, in every turn can meet surprises. The longer we get along, the more touched we are by his ordinary thrills. Few people recommend this place, but you love art, design, love the beauty of ordinary, come ICA, her beauty is left to you with the same mood.
