阿爾勒古羅馬劇場是一座羅馬式的露天圓形劇場，它建於公元1世紀末期，如今只剩下幾根柱子和一些殘垣斷壁。和很多城市的古羅馬劇院類似，這裏曾經也是經常聚集着群眾的大劇場，如今這裏依舊時常會舉辦一些演出活動。

古代劇場也是一個羅馬時期的遺留下來的建築物，半露天娥性質，定期也會舉辦一些表演的，門票需要單獨購買，劇場周圍可以看到很多的羅馬時期的古老的建築遺迹，保存很好。

阿爾勒另外一個有名的遺迹就是古代劇場，它建於公元前一世紀末。古代劇場的規模，根據後面僅存的高聳的柱子，就能想象出當年的恢弘氣勢。

This is equivalent to the function of modern cinema. In the past, there were many plays such as parody, mime, stage play and so on. They were entertainment resorts in ancient Rome. The area is very large, although it looks very old, but still can feel its prosperity in that year.

羅馬統治結束后，歌劇院被廢棄，民眾採集歌劇院的石料，建築房屋和修道院，使其遭受到了嚴重的破壞，如今，古羅馬歌劇院只殘存階梯和部分石柱石塊，現在舞台中央的兩根大理石石柱，為僅存的兩根原古羅馬歌劇院的完整石柱，階梯座位也由最初可容納一萬人降到兩千人。19世紀政府進行了修復工作，把挖掘出來的石柱和石墩統一展示。當時發現的都是殘存碎片，現在是修復后的樣子。 當時歌劇院建築是三面有牆的長方形，70多根柱子，上面有頂棚，為保證拾音而作向下傾斜的處理。

The ancient Greek-Roman Th&3; & _6; treAntique theatre is semi-elliptical and has a history of 1,900 years. Primitive architecture has gone through vicissitudes, leaving only the main structure and Roman pillars. The stands and stages have been renovated. From the grand space, we can still feel the vision and courage of the Roman designers. The opening hours are from May to September 9:00-18:30, March, April and October 9:00-12:00, 14:00-18:00, November-February 10:00-12:00, 14:00-17:00. Tickets for adults are 3 Euros and for children are 2.2 Euros. It's about 15 minutes'walk south from the railway station.
