潮汐湖畔旁邊的一處很精美的房屋，這個紀念堂也可以看到很多的有趣的內容，整個紀念堂有着很多的獨特的歷史建築和風格的，紀念堂的規模也是蠻大的。

美國第三任總統托馬斯·傑斐遜是《獨立宣言》起草人，他的紀念堂建於潮汐湖邊。紀念堂內，正中央是托馬斯·傑斐遜的雕像，他昂首站立，目視着遠方；牆壁上刻着《獨立宣言》。
