以釧路為中心，客居在北海道的丹頂鶴（Red-crowned Crane）大概有1500隻。丹頂鶴雖然一副不食人間煙火的美仙子模樣，可實際上它們最愛吃玉米，剛到這裏時，把渡部TOME女士的莊家啃食的、得一片狼藉。從1963年以來，TOME女士和兒子堅持餵食丹頂鶴，這片專門的餵食區域，就是“鶴見台”，這裏的丹頂鶴有100-200隻。丹頂鶴雌雄成鳥和幼鳥形影相隨，雄鳥會幫助撫育幼鳥，因而丹頂鶴是夫妻恩愛的象徵，並以幸運鳥著稱。

翻出了此前的照片，再次看到時，想不到是如此之美。我們是冬季去的，不知道其他季節的景色如何呢？這裏估計一直有專門來拍照的攝影團隊，並且明確不許發出大聲，以免打擾了這些可愛的仙鶴。

Weather is good here, if I take a long focus camera, I will be able to take pictures of all kinds of postures and states of the day. It must be a great love of photographers to watch and take pictures from 11 o'clock until 2 o'clock. I really think they are very interesting. I wait until 2 o'clock to see the spectacular scenes of all of them taking off, but it is very beautiful to only take pictures of a few flying groups at 3 o'clock. Every time you fly over your head, you must have a lot of sighs.

In Japan, red-crowned cranes are known as auspicious birds. This is the first place in the world where red-crowned cranes are successfully hatched. Every winter, red-crowned cranes fly from Siberia, so this is the perfect place to watch wild cranes.

Not many people here know have not yet been fully exploited away from the city's quiet, in the snow and ice there are pure natural scenery, where only thanks to the beauty of nature.
