The Worcester Museum of Art was donated by Stephen III, the third generation of Salisbury family, the richest man in the Worcester region in the 18th and 19th centuries. It has a large collection of four floors. There are some works of art from various periods in Europe, America and Asia. A more local feature is a Wooster County landscape painting on the third floor of the oil painting area, originally on the fireplace of Salisbury's home.
